ABOUT
The Melini Apartments in Protaras are a good standard of accommodation in a great location for the beach and resort centre. Despite its great location near the beach the Melini Apartments has a fantastic swimming pool. Stayed in the Melini apts for 2 weeks, loved every day. Nothing wrong with the accomodation it was spotless cleaned every day and clean towels every 2 days. The staff couldnt be more helpfull. What bugs me about these reports is that when people complain about the noise 'the music was too loud from the bar' etc etc, the music stops at midnight so anyone that is in their room before then musnt be on holiday. It is also not all that loud, brilliant entertainment every night in Rockafellas bar. The restaurant that is part of the apts Island Affair is great value for money and lovely food. This is the 2nd time we've been to Protaras and will definatley be going back, some great places to eat, Zucchinis, Parko Restaurant, Hippocampus (for the brandy sours) and food, Corner Restaurant. The Cypriot people are really helpfull, polite and friendly. If you are thinking about staying in the Melini Apts ignore the people who knock it, and try it for yourself, you'll love it. Also the pool is brilliant loads of room loads of beds to go around. Cant wait to go back there next year.
